BTI360 Voted One of the Best Places to Work in DC for 2014

The Washington Business Journal has named BTI360 as one of the Best Places To Work in DC in 2014. Our teammates honor us by voting us in for the third time.

Because of this award our CEO MJ Wivell commented “This honor I’d like to thank our team for making BTI360 a wonderful place to work. It is humbling to work with such a talented and awesome team of engineers!”

The WBJ’s Best Places to Work in DC award honors the area’s leading employers. They look for companies that go beyond the norm to foster an enjoyable and meaningful work environment for their employees. The Washington Business Journal recognized the winners and plan to announce the individual category winners at an awards event in Tysons Corner in May.

Companies are profiled in the Washington Business Journal because they have done the best compared to other companies in the area that are a similar size. Furthermore, companies were judged based on the results of a survey administered by Quantum Market Research. The survey evaluates things like:

  • Team effectiveness
  • Retention
  • Employee alignment with company goals
  • Trust with co-workers
  • Individual contributions
  • Manager effectiveness
  • Trust in senior leaders
  • Feeling valued
  • Work engagement
  • People practices

At BTI360 We Invest in Our Team

Developing people is our passion and because of this we believe that every day is a chance to grow. We know that if we invest in great people, then great things will happen.

Due to the fact that well-crafted software cannot build itself, we therefore begin by investing in our teammate’s professional development in three main areas – Software Craftsmanship, Technical Curiosity, and Leading Teams.

At BTI360 We Put People First

For us, investing in our people is so much more than technical training and leadership development. Therefore, it means we use our resources for the benefit of our teammates and their families both inside and outside of work.

Because of this core belief – that people matter most – it drives everything we do and every decision we make.

Like What You Hear, Work Here!

If all this sounds interesting to you, drop us a line because we’re always looking for like-minded software engineers to join the BTI360 team.

Other Awards

The Washington Business Journal’s Best Place to Work in the D.C. area list is determined by scoring the highest among hundreds of employers that participated in Omaha, Nebraska-based Quantum Workplace’s annual employee engagement survey.
